What about situations where the Dad had been abusive or has died...our case. How does a mom bridge the gap? I was hoping for good male role models, which my son has had,....I had made the point that these professors and teachers are masculine and effective as disciplinarians in ways to get do not reflect toxic masculinity,as my son had seen a lot of....and that masculinity can look different for different men...that it does not have to fit in a box. I hope it made him think.
